The Body Shop Himalayan Charcoal Purifying Glow Mask Review

Hi guys!=)
So today's review is all about this so called "Glam Glow dupe" among the beauty communities.

I've been wanting to try this mask for soooooooo long! Finally, I bought it at around this time last year. I've heard so many great things about this mask and most importantly everyone has been saying that this mask is the Glam Glow Supermud Mask dupe which is what really got me into trying it. This product was so popular that it was out of stock for a long while. Since I bought it, I've been testing it for awhile now and has since emptied this product once you guys saw this post. So here are my thoughts and opinions about it.

Ingredients: listed on their website which is linked at the very bottom of this post

Skin type: all skin types

Rate: 7/10

Consistency/texture: mud-like

Smell/scent: minty + tea tree

Feel: tingling sensation in the first few minutes

Application/how to use: Remove your make-up and cleanse your skin. Next, smooth an even layer of the face mask onto the face using The Body Shop Facial Mask Brush or fingers being careful to avoid the eye and lip area. Apply to neck and decollete if desired. Leave for 5-10 minutes until the clay dries. Finish by rinsing off with warm water in circular motions to gently exfoliate. For best results use two to three times a week.

How often do I use: once per week

Packaging: love it! But it's quite heavy since it's glass made so not really travel-friendly.

Sizes: one size 75ml

Whole product lasted how long: 4-5 months for me because I only use it once a week

Product life span: 12 months

Would I recommend to others: maybe

Personal experience using it: I will be comparing this mask to the Glam Glow Supermud Clearing Mask since everyone said that this is the dupe for it. First off, the color of both masks are quite similar. But this mask has a lot more chunks than the Glam Glow mask. This mask is quite messy to use because the chunks will literally fall everywhere when you apply the mask to your skin so make sure you are applying it at your sink. Also, this mask is much harder to wash off compared to the Glam Glow mask. You have to literally scrub your skin so hard to take this mask off. What I recommend is to use a cloth to wipe it off. It will be a lot easier and quicker this way. My skin does feel smooth after using this mask and it really does help to scrub away some of the blackheads. If you pair it with a cloth, you will achieve a much better exfoliation results. Overall, I do like it but it is not comparable at all to my favorite Glam Glow mask. They are similar but definitely not a dupe.

Would I repurchase: no for now

Product value/price: RM99.00
