Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser Review

Hi guys!=)
So this week's skincare review is a popular dermatologist recommended brand, 'Cetaphil'.

You are probably wondering why there's 2 different pictures. Well, firstly they came in different sizes. Secondly, they are both manufactured at different countries hence the packaging is slightly different. In the first picture, I bought that cleanser while I was in Malaysia last summer and the second picture, I bought it here in Ireland last September. So the obvious difference is that one is for all skin types and one is particularly for sensitive or dry skin. In Malaysia, I saw that they have different cleansers for different skin types but in Ireland, they only have one which is the one shown in the second picture. I would say it's the same thing which is why I wouldn't want to write separate blog posts for each of them. But the ingredients would be slightly different. The consistency is slight different as well. Now, before I go any further, they recently changed their packaging. They re-did it so it looks a bit different but the ingredients are still the same, at least that is what I found out.

Rate: 9/10

Right: Cetaphil from first picture
Left: Cetaphil from second picture
Consistency/texture: you can tell by the picture above. The first Cetaphil has a little bit of shiny beads in it but not really anything big. The second Cetaphil is completely clear and a bit more gel-ish. Both actually feels quite the same on the skin.

Smell/scent: no scent for both

Application/how to use: use like a normal cleanser. You could use it dry or wet.

How often do you use: every day and night so twice a day

Packaging: travel-friendly. Comes in 4 different sizes. There's a lock pump for 8oz and 16oz packaging.

Sizes: 4 sizes (2oz, 4oz, 8oz, 16oz)

Whole product lasted how long: depends which packaging you chose. The first Cetaphil lasted for about 3 months and the second Cetaphil lasted for about half a year.

Product life span: 12 months

Would you recommend to others: yes! highly recommend

Personal experience using it: I love Cetaphil cleanser in general. No matter it's for all skin types or dry skin, I love them all! I love the consistency, it's very lightweight on skin. It doesn't clog my pores. It doesn't makes me breakout. It's easy to wash off. It's just an all rounder nice cleanser and a lot of dermatologists recommended Cetaphil for anyone and everyone because they are very gentle. They don't have much ingredients and the ingredients are proven to be safe to use on skin. So no matter which skin type you are, I highly recommend this brand in general. I've tried their moisturiser as well and I love it. I do highly recommend especially for those who are currently breaking out and in need of a cleanser, I would say to go for this cleanser because you want to treat your skin gently especially when it's freaking out because you would not want to dry your skin more which would not help your situation in any way, the only way is to treat it gently and it will heal faster.

Would you repurchase: I already did! And forever will!

Product value/price: €14.99 for 8oz
