So this week's review is a lip balm from 'Nivea'.
This lip balm has such a huge hyped among the beauty communities when it first came out. I wasn't planning to try this lip balm because of the packaging. Not really a fan of this kind of packaging. What I meant is that you have to dip your finger into the pot to apply the lip balm. Most of the times your finger will probably be not clean so you're basically putting bacteria into the pot every time you apply it. Personally, I think it's unhygienic. But I ran out of lip balm to try so I bought it and see what's the hyped about.

They have four different "flavors" of lip balm but they all do the same thing which is hydrate your lips. You can choose according to your scent preference.
Consistency/texture: more like thick cream than butter
Smell/scent: no scent
Feel: very moisturising when apply to lips
Application/how to use: re-apply as often as you like
How often do you use: I only use it as a night time lip balm before I went to bed
Effectiveness: hydrates for quite a long time
Packaging: travel-friendly but not my type of packaging. Prefer in tube
Sizes: one size
Whole product lasted how long: super long! Because I only use it once a day so it lasted me half a year.
Product life span: 12 months
Would you recommend to others: maybe
Personal experience using it: A little goes a long way so you don't need much. It's cheap and affordable and a great product for the price as well. It is moisturizing on the lips and once it's gone, your lips wouldn't feel as dry and tight as some the other lip balms do. I personally wouldn't repurchase because of the packaging but I do recommend for people to try. I've tried the ones in tube as well --> Nivea Essential Care Lip Balm
Would you repurchase: no
Product value/price: €3.09
Where I bought mine: local Boots store
