Hair Care Tips #1

1. Your hair is weak when it's wet, so never rub your hair dry with a towel. Instead, blot the wetness out with a towel and fluff it with your fingers.

2. When you blow dry your hair, keep the blow dryer at least 6 inches away from your hair and keep it moving constantly so you don't overheat your hair.

3. Vitamin E can make your hair shine. Good sources of Vitamin E include: Brown rice, nuts, wheat germ and leafy green vegetables.

4. For shiny and healthy hair, wash up an avocado, mix it with a tablespoon of olive oil, and rub it through your hair. Wash your hair after 15 minutes.

5. Drink 8 glasses of water a day. Water helps keep your hair silky and shiny.

6. Eat enough protein such as fish, meat, milk and cheese for stronger and healthier hair.

7. Zinc can help prevent hair loss by building hair protein. Good sources of zinc include meat and seafood.

8. Vitamin A helps keep your scalp healthy. So snack on more carrots, as they are full of Vitamin A.

9. Stress can cause hair loss, so find ways to relax and rejuvenate yourself to keep your precious hair.

10. Massaging your scalp can improve circulation to your head and promote hair growth.

11. Brush and comb your hair only when it's dry. Wet hair is weak, and brushing wet hair can easily damage it.

12. Baby formulated shampoos are gentle to hair and will not strip your hair color.

13. On the day of a party or important event, use a volumizing shampoo to give your hair extra body and shine.
