Dermalogica Precleanse Cleansing Oil Review

Hey guys!=)
So today's review is all about this cleansing oil from 'Dermalogica'.

To be real honest with you, I'm actually quite scared of using cleansing oil because the thought of putting oil on my skin just freaks me out. I'm afraid that it will clogged my pores if I don't wash it off properly thus leading to breakouts. But I don't know what has gotten into my mind when I bought it. I've heard a lot of beauty youtubers like Kathleenlights and Casey Holmes raving about this product. I think that's why eventually I bit the bullet and bought it since it wasn't cheap too.

Claims:
Deep-cleansing oil melts impurities and makeup from skin. Achieve ultra clean and healthy-looking skin with the Double Cleanse regimen that begins with PreCleanse. Thoroughly melt away layers of excess sebum (oil), sunscreen, waterproof makeup, environmental pollutants and residual products that build up on skin throughout the day with skin fortifying Borage Seed, Kukui and Apricot oils. Add water to transform this hydrophilic (water-loving) formula into a milky emulsion that easily rinses debris from the skin's surface, allowing your cleanser to penetrate even further. Formulated with conditioning Rice Bran and Vitamin E oils, this gentle blend offers a deep cleansing ideal even for oily skin conditions. Gluten-free, vegan, no artificial fragrances and colors, paraben-free and cruelty-free.

Personal experience using it: I was tempted to purchase this cleansing oil by a few youtubers but I have hesitated for quite awhile now because I was afraid that it might break me out since my skin doesn't really like oil that much. The last few times I tried using oil on my skin, it broke me out pretty badly so I was scared. But I don't know what has gotten into my mind and I decided to bit the bullet and purchased it without over-thinking. It was pretty pricey for such a small bottle of cleansing oil so I prayed hard that everything would go smoothly and my skin will accept it. I've since used this for a few months now and I would definitely say that it is very safe on the skin. I have extremely sensitive skin and I didn't break out at all from using this product. I was pretty happy because finally my skin accepts an oil product but the happiness didn't lasted too long because after using for a few weeks, I found out that this product actually burns my eyes. If this product accidentally went into your eye, it will hurt like crazy and make your visions blurry. In conclusion, I'm happy to have tried this product because it really does remove all of your makeup (not sure about waterproof makeup but it claims that it can remove too) but I can't risk my eyeballs so I ain't gonna purchase it again. But I do still recommend it for others, you can try it if you don't mind about the eyes irritation part since everyone's eyes feel differently.

Would you repurchase: no for now

Product value/price: RM194 (should be cheaper now because I bought it with GST included)

Where I bought mine: AsterSpring store, Malaysia
