Maybelline Super Stay 14 Hour Lipstick Review - 510 Non-Stop Red

So today's review is a lipstick from 'Maybelline'.

I know this lipstick has launched years ago. I remembered I bought this lipstick when they first launched in Europe. I initially thought this was a lip gloss because of the packaging. I adore the packaging a lot. I still don't know why I picked the color red because I don't wear red lipstick at all. Anyway, I still wore this for a few times to test it out but it was a disappointment.

Claims:
No fading, no dragging, no drying. Forget heavy lip color, feel our feather-light formula.

Rate: 5/10

I know I should probably use a lip liner. Lipstick struggles :x
But I just want to show you guys the color on my lips so you can get an idea of it.

Consistency/texture: matte

Smell/scent: weird fruit + chemical scent

Lasting effect/power: doesn't last at all

Available shades: 9 shades (mine is in Non-Stop Red 510)

Feel: very drying

Packaging: love it! very small and convenient, easy to put in your handbag.

Would you recommend to others: no

Personal experience using it: It is extremely drying on my lips. It is super hard to apply as well because the lipstick itself is too dry. Make sure you exfoliate your lips beforehand because it will cling onto every dry patches you have on your lips. It will also sink into every lip lines you have as you can tell by the picture above. It wears off super easily which I won't blame it because it is a normal lipstick not a liquid lipstick. But for what it claims, I'm very disappointed because it doesn't hold up what it claimed to be which is no fading, drying and dragging. Also, the price is actually pretty high for a drugstore lipstick.
