So today's review is a body butter from 'Soap & Glory'.
So today's review is a body butter from 'Soap & Glory'.
To be honest, I have not try a lot of 'Soap & Glory' products. It's because I do not like their strong fragrance. If you have not try or sniff any of their products before, they have super strong fragrance in each of their products. A lot of people love their scent but for me, it's too overpowering. But I bought this because I ran out of my beloved 'The Body Shop body butter' and I don't have any 'The Body Shop' store near me so I went to Boots and this is the only body butter I would actually want to try so I gave it a go.
Claims:
Our zesty-fresh, moisture-intense, invigorating body butter is scented with fresh green mandarin, Sicilian lemon and sweet orange peel oils. With shea butter massage balls and mangomilk, there's really nothing quite like it!

Consistency/texture: butter
Smell/scent: smoked orange (lol, I don't know why)
Feel: super moisturising on skin
Application/how to use: smooth a dollop of body butter onto slightly-damp skin after showering.
How often do you use: every other day (lazy me hehe)
Packaging: big and bulky. Not travel-friendly. Too big
Sizes: one size 300ml
Whole product lasted how long: 3 months
Product life span: 24 months
Would you recommend to others: yes
Personal experience using it: It has a very thick buttery texture so a little goes a long way and you have to really take time to blend it into your skin. The scent to me is okay compared to all the others scent. It provides intense moisture to the skin since it's so buttery and thick. It is not sticky at all but you do have to wait for a few minutes for the butter to absorb into your skin before putting on clothes. As for the massage balls, you do not need any harsh rubbing or blending at all. It dissolves pretty quickly. I don't see any uses with the massage balls and clearly do not understand why they put massage balls in but it definitely does feel a little bit more luxury. Overall, I do like this body butter but it's a little pricey to me for a drugstore body butter.
