So today's makeup review is all about this popular drugstore powder from 'Rimmel'.
I know I'm so late to jump on this bandwagon. This powder is the #1 drugstore powder that beauty junkies always recommend. So I decided to finally bought it and try after finishing my 'Benefit Hello Flawless Powder' which I love. I bought it in the shade transparent since the other shades don't match my tan skin and transparent shade is the go-to shade for me because I don't have to worry if my skin have gotten lighter or darker.
Claims:
Up to 5 hours natural shine control with natural minerals. Helps minimise the appearance of pores. Dermatologically tested.

Rate: 7/10
Consistency/texture: powder
Smell/scent: typical powder scent
Coverage: none
Lasting effect/power: 4-5 hours maximum
Available shades: 8 shades
Feel: no powder or heavy feeling on the skin
Application/how to use: use it as a setting powder after apply foundation on skin or use it alone to mattify your skin.
How often do you use: every time I apply makeup which is at least 4 times a week.
Packaging: dislike the packaging. It breaks very easily. I have never dropped mine or does anything to it, yet it is starting to crack out of nowhere. Absolutely not travel-friendly.
Sizes: one size 14g
Whole product lasted how long: ages! I have been using it for 2 months now and it is still going on strong!
Product life span: 30 months
Would you recommend to others: yes for a budget-friendly powder
Personal experience using it: I do like this powder but it only lasts maximum 5 hours. I wished it lasted longer because I wear a light layer of this powder to work every day and my working hours is at least 8 hours. So this didn't lasted for the entire day. After 5 hours, I started to see oils peeping through and by the end of the day, my skin is oily especially T-zone. It is a bit drying so I do not recommend for people who has dry patches on skin. Even though I got it in the shade transparent, it is not totally transparent, there's still a slight bit of color but nothing huge that would change the color of your skin. The packaging absolutely sucks but oh well, the price is cheap so I guess this packaging is fine for the price.
Would you repurchase: maybe because there's a lot more powders out there I want to try!
Product value/price: €5.99
Where I bought mine: local Boots store
