Maybelline The Falsies Volum' Express Waterproof Mascara Review

So today's makeup review is a mascara from 'Maybelline'.

This mascara from 'Maybelline' is everyone's cult favorite. So I decided to try it out myself to see if it really is that good or not. I bought the waterproof version because I have watery eyes and also waterproof mascara tends to hold on the curls better. Just in general, I personally prefer waterproof mascara. Anyway, enough of that and let's get started.

Claims:

Creates more visible eyelashes for a glam look. The clump-free formula delivers bigger, thicker, and fuller lashes for dramatic volume. The unique and flexible wand helps to lift and separate delivering the look of more lashes. Maybelline's patented spoon brush and Kera-Fiber Formula instantly build 8X more volume to achieve The Falsies lash effect. Ophthalmologist tested. Suitable for contact lens wearers.

Application/how to use: 

1. Hold brush with the spoon side at the base of eyelashes and sweep from root to tip.
2. Repeat until the desired look is achieved.
3. Do not let mascara dry in between coats.
4. Easily remove mascara with eye makeup remover.

How often do you use: every time I wear makeup which is about 4-5 times a week.

Packaging: slightly big and bulky but it was okay for me. Travel-friendly.

Would you recommend to others: yes!

Personal experience using it: I love this mascara a lot! It does gives a little bit of spidery looking lashes but I personally don't really mind that. I like the waterproof version because it legit makes my lashes stayed curled the entire day! It is good for contact lens wearers as well since it doesn't flake throughout the day so contact lens wearers don't have to worry about mascara going into your eyes. It lengthens my lashes a lot but volume wise, not really that much though. You can tell by the picture above that my lashes are separate and not clumpy at all which is what I prefer. Overall, I really love this mascara but it can get slight bit pricey for a drugstore mascara. They do have the non-waterproof version too.
