So today's review is a concealer from 'Dior'.
This is my first time trying Dior's makeup.
Sorry if the pictures are a bit blurry. I'm still getting used to my new camera. Anyway, I got a €25 voucher to shop at Debenhams store and I was in need of a new concealer so I did my research online and went to Debenhams store. I wanted the hydrating concealer from 'Dior' but the shades were really off for my skin tone. My shade was between 002 and 003 so the girl asked me what attracts me to get that concealer and I told her because it is hydrating. I have very dry under eyes so I need a concealer that is hydrating. She recommended me this concealer which is the DiorSkin Star Concealer. At that time, the DiorSkin Star range just launched so she said this is really nice as well. Even though I wasn't expecting to buy this concealer but I tested it in store and my friend said it looks good so I trusted her opinions and bought it. I only paid €8 because the price is €33 and my voucher was €25 which I think wouldn't be that bad. I basically bought a high-end concealer with just €8. I wouldn't be as heart broken even if I didn't like it in the end.

An illuminating stretch-effect concealer for eyes sculpted by light. Dark circles are instantly neutralized and the eye area contour is unified and brightened. Day after day, signs of fatigue fade away for more dazzling eyes.

- Without any makeup. No primer, foundation, concealer, etc.
- Apply concealer on LEFT under eye area.
- Blend concealer with finger.
- Then, blend concealer with small brush to make sure concealer is blend in fully.
- Left under eye area WITH concealer. Right under eye area WITHOUT concealer.
- Both under eye area WITH concealer.

Smell/scent: typical cosmetics scent
Coverage: medium
Specific/special feature: brightening and illuminating
Lasting effect/power: depends on what powder you use to set the concealer or what primer you use underneath the concealer but on its own without setting with powder or using primer, it normally lasts about 4-5 hours.

Feel: a bit drying
Application/how to use: deposit a few dabs of concealer with the built-in applicator to under-eye circles and the outer corner of the eye. Then lightly tap with the fingertips to draw the texture out.
How often do you use: 4-5 times a week
Packaging: small, short and thin. Travel-friendly. Ain't glass.
Sizes: one size 6ml
Product life span: 12 months

Personal experience using it: At first, I quite like this concealer but then the more I use it the more problems I found with this concealer. So I got it in the shade 003. When I tested it in store on my actual face, the shade looks fine on me. But after using it for a couple of months, I was always wondering why my eye areas are always slightly darker than the other parts of my face. To clear things off, I only apply this concealer as an undereye concealer, which means I only use it around my eye area. I found out after a few months that this concealer was actually a bit too orange on my skin. I didn't knew that until one day I decided to cover one of my scar that my spot left behind and the color was so off. Secondly, this concealer creases really bad on me. I tried using primer and powder, it still creases on me. It only stays on about 4 hours I would say. It looks a bit cakey if I set it with powder because I have very dry undereye area. So overall, I wouldn't really recommend or repurchase this concealer. Everyone loves it when it first came out but now, I don't see people talking about it anymore. It's not in anyone's favorites anymore. So I'm not sure if it's just something that people hyped up when it first launched. But anyway, if you have tried it, let me know how you feel about it because everyone's skin is different so I don't like it doesn't mean you or anyone else wouldn't like it.
