Lush Oatifix Fresh Face Mask Review

Hello peepooooo!=)
How's your week going?
So today's review is a fresh face mask from 'Lush'.

I got this fresh face mask for free when I returned 5 empty Lush pots. If you don't know, Lush actually have a recycling program which they encouraged consumers to returned empty pots to them. If you returned 5 pots at once, you will get a free fresh face mask from them. So I got this one to try since I've always wanted to try their fresh face mask but my skin is sensitive towards cocoa butter or shea butter, not sure which one so I told the girl I wanted something without both of the ingredients and she recommended me this one.

Claims:
This gentle, nourishing mask is made with fresh bananas and illipe butter to moisturise dry skin. Oatmeal, ground almonds and kaolin work together in a mildly exfoliating base to eradicate dead skin, leaving you soft, supple and moisturised.

Ingredients:
Glycerine, Fine Oatmeal, Fresh Organic Fair Trade Banana Water (Aqua), Ground Almonds, Organic Illipe Butter, Kaolin, Talc, Fair TRade Vanilla Absolute, Sandalwood Oil, Benzoin Resinoid, Coumarin, Benzyl Cinnamate, Linalool, Perfume, Gardenia Extract

Skin type: dry to very dry

Rate: 6.5/10

My mustache game is strong! Lol. Sorry about that.
This picture is a bit blurry. Sorry. Was trying out a new camera.
Consistency/texture: super thick butter

Smell/scent: oatmeal scent

Feel: super duper moisturising on the skin and cooling because it is stored in the fridge

Application/how to use: smooth a generous layer of this mask onto your face and leave for 10 to 15 minutes and let the ingredients get to work before washing off gently with warm water.

How often do you use: once a week

Effectiveness: good for intense moisture and instant cooling effect

Packaging: typical Lush pot, not really travel-friendly as pot a bit big

Sizes: one size 75g

Whole product lasted how long: almost 3 months

Product life span: depends but their fresh face mask has shorter life span than any other products as they are fresh and you need to keep them in the refrigerator.

Would you recommend to others: yes but only for dry to very dry skin people

Personal experience using it: I do like this mask but I don't think it's suitable for my skin and I don't really like the feeling because it feels like I slather on a thick layer of butter onto my skin and it feels a little uncomfortable for me. My skin feels buttery and I dislike that feeling as it makes me feels like I haven't wash my face in ages. It is supposed to be a moisturising feeling but to me it's more like oily butter feeling. I feel like my pores will get clogged by this oily butter feeling mask. Also, it is so hard to apply as it is thick and I literally have to dig my fingers in it to dig out the mask and apply it on my face. It is really messy to apply as it comes out in chunks so it doesn't apply as smoothly as typical face masks do. When I apply it to my skin, I feel instant heat as well and I don't know why, my skin turns a bit red every time I washed off this mask. Maybe my skin doesn't like this mask in general. But if you have tried it, let me know if you feel the same or not. Overall, I only recommend this mask for dry to very dry skin people as this mask is super thick and moisturising.

Would you repurchase: absolutely no

Product value/price: £6.75
