Hey guys!=)
So today's review is a body product review from 'Kiehls'.
I bought this when Arnotts was having a 20% sale on all Kiehls products. I was super excited because I love Kiehls so much but their products are pretty expensive so when they have sale, I will always be the first to order! The sale was a few months ago and I ordered a bunch of products to try. But anyway, my point was I saw the limited edition Peter Max packaging was incredibly nice and I am running out of my body butter so I decided to purchase this to try out. I heard amazing things about this body butter and was really excited to try it. By the way, Kiehls is having another 20% off sale at Arnotts website this coming friday and saturday! 24/6/15-25/6/15!!! We all love a good 20% off since they only do this sale few times a year.
Claims:
A soy milk and honey whipped body butter: luxuriously scented. Light on the skin, but rich in 24-hour hydration. Decadently air-whipped for instant penetration to restore, protect and soften skin. Quickly absorbed to deliver deep moisturisation. No parabens, glycols or silicones.
Rate: 9/10
Rate: 9/10
Consistency/texture: thick butter
Smell/scent: strong scent (can't tell what it is but it has a very strong scent)
Feel: very buttery and moisturising on skin
Application/how to use: apply soy milk and honey body butter on slightly damp skin. For best results, a body moisturiser should be used on lightly towel-dried skin after bathing or showering to help seal in the surface moisture.
How often do you use: every other day after shower (I'm not consistent at applying body butter)
Packaging: super big tub so it's not travel-friendly
Sizes: 2 sizes (226g/340g)
Whole product lasted how long: 3 months
Product life span: 12 months
Would you recommend to others: yes but there's more cheaper options though
Personal experience using it: The one that I bought as shown in the picture is a limited edition packaging which Kiehls collab with Peter Max. I love the packaging a lot, it is very colorful and fun. I like the body butter in general but I'm not a huge fan of the strong scent. It is super moisturising but I would say you have to take your time to blend this body butter because it is very thick and give it a 1-2 minutes to absorb into your skin before you put on your clothes even though it is not sticky or tacky at all, but it takes time to absorb. I do recommend it if you have extra money to splurge on body butters or your skin is super dry then this is perfect for you. It is a very pricey product for a body butter though.
Would you repurchase: maybe
Product value/price: 226g (£36), 340g(£45)
Where I bought mine: Kiehls counter in Arnotts, Henry Street
