Lush Soak and Float Shampoo Bar Review

Hey loves!=)
So this week's review is a shampoo bar from 'Lush'.

Looks like rice to me lol.

This is my first time trying a shampoo bar in my live. I'm not really a fan of soaps or bar products. But I was in need of a new shampoo because I ran out of my 'The Body Shop Ginger Anti-Dandruff Shampoo' and wanted to try something new. I'll tell you a little background story of my hair. I have dry, itchy, sensitive scalp. It gets so itchy when I use shampoo especially drugstore shampoos that are not for scalp soothing. So I came across this Lush shampoo bar when I was browsing the store one day and the sales guy told me that this is the best shampoo for my itchy, sensitive scalp so I bought it and was really excited to use it. You can tell by the picture above that I bought it in January but I only started using it in February. So I gave it a good 3 months try and here's my honest opinions about it. But keep in mind that everyone's hair and scalp is different so I don't like it doesn't mean you or others won't like it either.

Claims:
A no-nonsense shampoo bar to help soothe scalps. Cade oil is derived from juniper and has long been used to treat scalps with psoriasis, dandruff and eczema. Rose and marigold petals calm the scalp and soothe redness, helping to promote a healthy, happy scalp.

Ingredients:
Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Water(Aqua), Perfume, cedarwood Absolute Rose Oil, Tonka Absolute Case Oil, Marigold Petals, Rose Petals, Alpha Isomethyl Ionene, Citronellol, Farnesol, Geraniol, Limonene, Linalool

Hair types: dry, itchy, sensitive scalp

Rate: 5/10

It looks like lots of rice squash into a shampoo bar lol.
Not sure what's the "hair", but I think it's seaweed or something.

Smell/scent: the scent is disgusting! It makes me headache every single time I smelled it.

Application/how to use: rub between your fingers, it lathers up very easily. A little goes a long way.

How often do you use: I don't wash my hair every day. I wash my hair every other day.

Effectiveness: okay...

Sizes: one size

Whole product lasted how long: super long! I've been using it for 3 months and it's only half gone! So I guess it will last probably about half a year.

Would you recommend to others: no

Personal experience using it: To be honest, I don't like this shampoo bar at all. Why? It's not bad but the seaweed thing or whatever that is in that shampoo bar always cling to my hair no matter how long I wash my hair, there will always be something clinging to my hair. Every time I comb my hair, there are always seaweed residue on my comb. At first, I thought it was my scalp but then it was the shampoo seaweed thing. Another thing I don't like is sometimes I would go 3 days without washing my hair and this shampoo makes my scalp extremely itchy on my third day hair and I saw tons of dandruff. None of my shampoo does this even if I go 3 days without washing my hair. Plus, the scent is disgusting and sodium lauryl sulfate is the first ingredient which makes sense why after washing the shampoo out of my hair, my hair feels stripped. So overall, I don't like it. One of my friends tried it and doesn't like it as well.

Would you repurchase: absolutely not!
