Lush Tea Tree Toner Water Review

Hi guys!=)
So this week's review is a toner from 'Lush'.

Got this while my skin was breaking out really bad and was thinking if this would help because it's tea tree based and everyone and their dog knows that tea tree helps with breakouts because it's antibacterial and antiseptic. Unfortunately, luck was not on my side when I was using this.

Claims:
Keep skin clear and refreshed. Tea tree is antibacterial, antifungal and antimicrobial, so can help keep away the bacteria that can cause spots. Grapefruit is rich in vitamins and is also lightly astringent on the skin, whilst juniperberry is antiseptic and helps keep skin clean and clear. Use any time of day to keep skin refreshed, or to remove traces of makeup or cleanser.

Ingredients:
Tea Tree Water, Grapefruit Water, Juniperberry Water, Limonene, Perfume, Methylparaben

Skin type: Oily/Spot prone skin

Rate: 6/10

Smell/scent: strong tea tree scent

Feel: drying on my skin

Application/how to use: Close your eyes tightly and spritz directly onto the face, or onto cotton wool pads to wipe away any dirt.

How often do you use: every morning and night

Effectiveness: no difference

Packaging: spray nossle

Sizes: 2 sizes (small-100g and big-250g)

Whole product lasted how long: finish half of it in approximately a month and a half but didn't end up finishing the entire bottle

Would you recommend to others: maybe but mostly no

Personal experience using it: First off, I would like to have a little disclaimer. I am not bashing this brand or their products at all. I was going through a phase of finding my skin type so I tested a bunch of products for different skin type and this toner is one of them. I bought this when my skin was having really bad breakouts thinking that the tea tree in this toner would absolutely help me clear them since everyone seems to recommend tea tree for breakouts. Unfortunately, I did not end up liking this toner. It dries out my skin so badly that the moment I apply this toner to my face with the cotton pad, my skin feels super dry and tight instantly. My roommate tried it as well and she has combination skin and this toner dries her skin out as well. So unless you have extremely oily skin then maybe you will like it. Otherwise, I do not recommend any skin type to try this. They do not have too much ingredients in it which I like but there's this really bad ingredient called Methylparaben which according to online resources, it is meant to do harm than good to your skin. I'm not 100% sure about that but they shouldn't have included it. They should maybe opt for something else. Another dislike about this product is that the spray nossle squirts out the toner instead of spraying evenly. That is why I don't like to spray it directly to my face because my face will end up with a lot of toner water patches on my face so instead I spray it on a cotton pad then apply it to my face. The price is pretty expensive as well for a toner.

Would you repurchase: absolutely no

Product value/price: €9.95/£8.50 - 250g // £4.50 - 100g
