Cyber Colors Brightense Whitening UV Protect Spray SPF50 PA+++ Review

So this week's review is a sunscreen review from the brand, 'Cyber Colors'.

I've never own any products from 'Cyber Colors' before because I'm not familiar with the brand (I guess???). I'm the type of person who only uses products from brands that I've heard of. I went into Sasa one day while I was having my summer holiday back then in Malaysia. Sasa is a place that you must go to if you love beauty products. They have tons of Asian products from different brands. I was finding for a lightweight sunscreen to use because Malaysia is so hot, I can't use any sunscreen that is creamy or lotion type which is what I normally prefer. The salesgirl was telling me that this is the lightest sunscreen they have and it was on sale for buy 2 get RM79. One can on its own was RM63.90 so I think it's a great deal and that is why I bought it.

Can anyone tell me if this brand is own by Sasa or not? Because every time I ask for recommendations either makeup or skincare, the salesgirl always recommends me all 'Cyber Colors' products. They kept wanting to sell me all of the products from this brand but there is so many brands in the store other than 'Cyber Colors'. So I'm guessing it's their own brand, that's why they kept selling me everything from this brand.

Claims:
High nourishing sun block spray for body and face. It protects against skin-aging UVA and burning UVB rays in an ultra-light. It is oil-free, non-greasy and waterproof that refreshes with every application. Enriched with stimulating seawater, rose, green tea and lavender plant-water, it helps the skin retain moisture and smooth. This product features Arbutin which prevents the formation of melanin thus delivers skin whitening effect. This water-light mist cools, and instantly refreshes skin, leaving it feeling fresh and clean.

Consistency/texture: white liquid

Smell/scent: smells like baby powder to me but not everyone will like this scent because my roommate absolutely hates it. It makes her head dizzy every time she smelled it. So I would say it has a strong fragrance scent and those who doesn't likes strong scent should stay away from it.

Coverage: zero coverage. It is not a foundation or bb cream or whatever. It is just a sunscreen.

Application/how to use: Apply 15-20 minutes before sun exposure. Hold the can 5-6 inches away from body and spray slowly and evenly to body. For face, it is recommended that spraying on your hands first and then apply on your face skin. Do not spray on your face directly. Shake well before use.

How often do you use: every day except lazy days when I don't go out at all which is usually the weekends.

Effectiveness: if you are talking about the whitening effect, then I would say no. It does leaves a white cast on the skin when you first apply on to your skin because it is a physical sunscreen. But after awhile, the white cast will go away.

Packaging: spray can. Not travel-friendly but easy to store in your vanity.

Sizes: one size

Whole product lasted how long: 2 months for me because I use it every single day and I use quite a decent amount every time so it finishes faster.

Would you recommend to others: maybe

Personal experience using it: To be honest, I have such a love hate relationship with this product. I like that it is oil-free but throughout the day my skin does get greasy a little especially my T-zone. It doesn't breaks me out and it's a physical sunscreen which is the only sunscreen that I use. It is an extra step to spray on your hands then apply to your face. The scent is a bit too overwhelming as well. It would be better without fragrance. I do not buy this because of the whitening so I didn't pay much attention to the whitening effect. I wear it from 8am to 5pm every day to college and I only take it off at night around 8pm so it's 12 hours of wearing it. By the end of the day, my skin is like a grease ball and it feels very uncomfortable so I do not recommend wearing it more than 5 hours. I do not layer this sunscreen every 2 hours because I can't stand too much layers of sunscreen on my skin. I know you are supposed to re-apply every 2 hours but I'm basically in the college from day to night so there is no point of me re-applying.
