So this week's review is all about this famous, hyped-up mask among the beauty community awhile ago.
This mask was so hyped-up among the beauty community ie. Youtube, blogger world, etc. So when I finally had the chance to lay my hands on it (I mean purchase it), I just grab and pay without second thought. I bought mine last summer when I was in Malaysia and they have a Sephora in one of the shopping malls I went to and if you are a beauty lover like me, you will never walk out empty-handed. I bought a lot, I mean A LOTTT of stuff when I was there and this is one of the stuff.

My scary face with the black mask on. Lol. If you got scared by me then I sincerely apologise.
Ignore the towel and my super wet hair.

This is how it looks like after I've peeled it off from my face. I know it looks terrible but it is so hard to peel off and it hurts so much.
Consistency/texture: opaque creamy black-coloured mask
Smell/scent: no scent
Application/how to use: Apply a thick, opaque, even layer to clean, dry skin. Avoid eye area, eyebrows, hairline and lips. Leave on for 30 minutes or until completely dry. Gently peel off mask from outer edges and rinse off any residue. Follow with moisturiser. Use once or twice a week.
How often do you use: once a week
Effectiveness: meh
Packaging: tube
Whole product lasted how long: 3 months (keep in mind I only use it once a week)
Would you recommend to others: no
Personal experience using it: to be honest with you guys, my first application is a total fail because I apply too thinly and I couldn't even peel it off. So I try it for the second time, it kinda works. I get to peel it off but maybe it's the way I apply it, it doesn't peels off in a piece. It peels off in parts (if you get what I mean). Personally, I find disadvantage more than advantage of this mask. First, you have to apply a thick and even layer. If not, it can't be peeled because it isn't thick enough and if it's not even, then the thin parts will end up drying first resulting in drying out your skin while waiting for the thick parts to dry and it feels very uncomfortable. It also runs out faster than you think because you have to apply such a thick layer every time. Another thing I dislike about this mask is that it hurts like hell when you peel it off. Excuse my words but it really hurts so badly. I feel like every single facial hair of mine is being peeled off by the mask and I literally shed a tear while peeling this mask off every single time. Some people might like the feeling of it but I don't. I feel like it's hurting my skin more than doing good things. But it does helps unclog pores a little. I don't see any other benefits of it but this product is hyped-up for a reason. I don't like it doesn't mean that you won't like it. A lot of people love it so this is just my personal opinion.
Would you repurchase: no
