Boots Skin Clear Oil-Absorbing Sheets Review

Hey guys!=)
So this week's review is all about this oil absorbing sheets from 'Boots' own brand.

PS: the quality of the images weren't as good as I expected. It looks good on my laptop but when I upload to blogger, the quality weren't as good.

I picked this up in the drugstore one day when I was searching for oil blotting sheets but couldn't find the brand that I always use which is the 'Clean and Clear' brand. I only found this blotting sheet from 'Boots' brand so I have no choice but to buy it because I was in need of it. To be real honest with you guys, I've never try anything from 'Boots' and I would have never in a million years because there's so many brands out there, 'Boots' is just a brand that I would passed by. I'm being real honest here. So don't hate me for that. Lol.

Claims:
These soft sheets are impregnated with salicylic acid to prevent spots. Instantly removes excess oil. Instantly eliminates shine. Instant matte complexion.

Skin type: oily

Rate: 5/10

When you opened it, it looks like this in the inside. A stack of blotting sheets.

It's a white blotting sheet and when you blot it, it turns clear as you can tell by the right image, some parts of it is clear. It shows how much oil it has absorbed and how oily you are.

Consistency/texture: -

Scent/smell: -

Feel: the blotting sheet feels very powdery. On the skin, it feels like you have powdered your face.

How to use: Gently blot or wipe the sheet over the face, concentrating on more oily areas such as the nose and forehead to quickly and easily remove excess oil and shine. Can be used over make-up without smudging. Do not flush.

How often do you use: on a daily basis. Whenever I'm oily.

Effectiveness: it does a really good job at mattifying my skin.

How many sheets available: 50 sheets

Would you recommend to others: maybe

Personal experience using it: Personally, I do not like it because of the powdery feeling. I dislike the blotting sheet since the moment I first touch it. The powdery texture makes me feel like this is just too much for a blotting sheet. I was using the 'Clean and Clear' blotting sheet so I kinda compared both of them since I love the 'Clean and Clear' ones so much. It's just incomparable. First off, the 'Clean and Clear' ones are not powder-coated. Probably both blotting sheets use different methods to mattify your skin. But I definitely do not like the powder method. It feels like I'm applying makeup powder on my skin and powder actually will clog your pores. Even though I'm not sure if this powder is the same as makeup powder but I just don't like the feeling when I touched my face, there's a layer of powder on top of my skin. It's just a personal thing. But it does absorbs oil even though the 'Clean and Clear' blotting sheet does a better job.

Would you repurchase: if no choice I would
