So this week's review is a mascara from a drugstore brand, 'Rimmel'.
So this week's review is a mascara from a drugstore brand, 'Rimmel'.
I got this for free when Boots was having sale.
I think it was something like, 'if you buy €12 and above of Rimmel products then you will get this free mascara'.
Rimmel often have offers going on in Boots so make sure to keep your eyes open and purchase it when they are having sales and offers.
I never recommend people to buy anything in full price especially drugstore things since they often have sales and offers.
Let's see what it claims:

It has a typical mascara wand that lengthens your lashes.
It is able to bend very easily but don't worry because it will not bend or "wobble" when you are coating your lashes with this mascara.
It only bends when you apply quite a bit of pressure to it.

- No mascara. Nothing on my lashes!
- Left eye with mascara. Right eye no mascara.
- Both eyes have mascara on.
- Left eye lashes curled and with mascara on. Right eye no mascara.
- Both eye lashes curled and with mascara on. (I have sunscreen on my face that's why my skin color's slightly lighter)
This mascara is NOT a volumizing mascara, it is a lengthening mascara that gives you longer lashes but doesn't volumize it.
It is very natural looking AND doesn't clumps at all AND I do like it for daily use.
Just keep in mind if you don't have thick lashes, then it will probably make your lashes look a bit sparse because it doesn't volumize them.
Also, it is non-waterproof so I do not recommend this mascara for those who are living in a constant hot and humid country like where I'm currently at --> Malaysia.
It's so hot here that my mascara literally melted and I look like a panda at the end of the day.
I started using this while I was in Ireland and it doesn't makes me look like a panda at the end of the day but it does flakes a little at the beginning and smudges a little throughout the day.
BUT surprisingly, it does holds the curls of my lashes throughout the day!
I was really surprised because a lot of mascara even some waterproof ones don't hold the curls of my lashes but this non-waterproof mascara does!
One extra point to that!=)
It is really easy to take off at the end of the day because it's non-waterproof, you don't have to scrub or pull your eye area and lashes.
I just use my 'Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water' and it takes every bit of mascara off.
It has fibres in it which is a very popular "ingredient" for lengthening your lashes, but just be aware that the fibres will fall into your eyes if you are not careful enough. (I think most of the fibres mascara does that)
Another extra point for this mascara is that it is very black!
