Topshop Flat Foundation Brush Review

Hey hey hey!=)
So today's review is about this very first foundation brush that I bought for myself.

This is my very first foundation that I bought for myself around 2 years ago if I'm not wrong.
Back at that time, I was starting to get into the whole makeup world and in need of an affordable but good foundation brush.
I didn't knew there is flat top foundation brush for you to buff your foundation evenly on your skin.
I just went on google and type 'foundation brush' and all of those flat foundation brush came up on google.
So I was searching on the web to buy because a lot of them seem expensive like the Sigma ones which I really wanna try but couldn't afford them.
So eventually, I found the 'Topshop' foundation brush and Topshop beauty wasn't really a hype back then.
But I got it for £9 which is still considered expensive to me but I bit the bullet and bought it.

It is a flat foundation brush so it was supposed to be kinda like a painting brush to paint your foundation on your face.
I like the bristles a lot.
They are very soft but to be honest, sometimes they prick my face and it hurts.
This brush doesn't blends my foundation evenly at all.
It leaves lines or streaks on my face which nobody is a fan of.
How I use is I dot foundation on my face first and then use this brush to blend them.
But instead of blending them, whenever this brush touches the foundation, the bristles clumps together and hardens which makes it harder to blend the foundation.
I've tried it numerous times and it's just not working for me at all.
Very disappointed because I put high hopes on this brush.
I like the design of the brush but too bad it just doesn't works for me.
I find that I don't like flat foundation brush at all.
I way prefer buffing brush or flat top foundation brush.
Washing wise, it's hard to get the foundation off the brush.
I use baby shampoo to wash my brushes and it works perfectly for all of my other brushes except for this one.
The foundation just clings onto this brush especially the inner bristles.
It is very hard to clean and took ages to clean this single brush.
I probably wouldn't buy any 'Topshop' brushes in the future but I'm looking forward to try some of their beauty products because I've heard good things about it.
To wrap up this blog post, I must say I don't recommend this particular brush because I'm not sure about the others and I've seen different version of flat foundation brush from them so probably they've changed it.
I'm not trying to bash any brands or products mentioned in this blog post.
Just my very honest opinions on it like always.

That's it guys!=)
