So today's post is about the famous 'Maybelline Baby Lips'!!!
I know I know I'm so late to jump on the bandwagon.
It's better late than never!=)
So here it goes..............
Firstly, this is the Asia version of Baby Lips in case anyone of you asks me.
If you have the clear lid and bigger tube of Baby Lips then that is the Western version of Baby Lips.
So they are basically the SAME!
But probably the formula in it is slightly different because I've heard people liking the Western Baby Lips and disliking the Asia Baby Lips.
I've never tried the Western version of Baby Lips so I can't really compare it.
I got it in the shade 'Mixed Berry' and 'Cherry Kiss'.
The names of Western and Asia version Baby Lips are different too!
Let's see what it claims:
Protects and moisturizes for a full 8 hours. After 1 week, lips are visibly renewed, virtually reborn.
How to use (For best results):
Apply your lipcolor by starting in the center of your upper lip. Work from the center to the outer edges of your lip, following the contours of your mouth. Then glide across the entire bottom lip.
This is in the shade 'Mixed Berry'.
It only gives you a slight pink tint to your lips.
This is in the shade 'Cherry Kiss'.
The color pay off for this shade is definitely better than 'Mixed Berry'.
I decided to swatch it on the back of my hand because there's no point showing you guys lip swatches since there's not really a big difference and I did try to do lip swatches but they just look the same to me.

I actually swatch back and forth a thousand times so the color payoff is actually not really pigmented and if you guys prefer more tinted lip balm then the Western version will be better.
It is very moisturizing but I feel like it just acts like a layer of balm on top of my lips instead of acting as a balm and also doing the good stuff to my lips because I find that whenever I wiped it off or after it has wear off, my lips are super dry.
It only prevent your lips from getting dryer and chap-per but it doesn't really penetrates down your lips and really healed and moisturize them.
It is slightly scented but not a big deal for me.
As for lasting power, it does last quite long if you don't eat or drink anything.
I don't really recommend this lip balm because there's definitely cheaper lip balms out there and does better job than this one do.
But if you wanna try it, you can do so.
