Book Review of The Month: Carrie

Hey guys=)
This is my February's book review. I was actually attracted by the cover and summary of this book. If you guys don't know, I actually love horror books but I dislike horror movies. I didn't knew this was a movie because I didn't go to the movie as much as I used to now. I was not fascinated by the book but I wanted to watch the movie after reading this book because this book contains a lot of Christian religion thingy mainly because the main character's, Carrie, her mother strongly believes in religions saying and act way too overboard until her own daughter can't stand at all and kill her own mother at the end of the story. I prefer watching the movie rather than reading the book.

Author: Stephen King

Carrie may be picked on by her classmates but she has a gift. She can move things with her mind. Doors lock. Candles fall. This is her power and her problem. To be invited to Prom Night by Tommy Ross is a dream come true for Carrie - the first step towards social acceptance by her high school colleagues. Until an unexpected cruelty turns her gift into a weapon of terror and destruction that no one will ever forget.
