La Roche-Posay Cicaplast Hands Barrier Repairing Cream Review

Hey guys=)
So today's review is about a hand cream and I used up a lot of hand creams within short time because I have fingers eczema and I'm always hunting for the best hand cream for my eczema.
I bought this hand cream during Boxing Day 2013 and I've completely used it up a few weeks ago since it is a very small tube(50ml).

I know the name of this hand cream is super long but trust me, keep on reading this review and you'll find out is this a Yay or a Nay for me.
I bought this hand cream during Boxing Day because I forgot to bring my hand cream along with me that day and I went Dublin for the whole day so I have to buy a hand cream because I have fingers eczema and my hands need to be moisturize for 24 hours.
So I went into 'Hickeys Pharmacy' which is a pharmacy store and I asked the advisor there what hand cream is suitable for fingers eczema and she recommended me this hand cream.
So I didn't simply picked up a hand cream and try it, it is recommended by the advisor there in the pharmacy store.
I've always wanted to try any La Roche-Posay products and finally I get to try their hand cream because their products are quite expensive to me even though it was sold in the drugstore.

Let's see what it claims:
Expert treatment for chronic dermatitis. It is a barrier cream that leaves an invisable glove like effect. It lasts up to 3 washes with water and resists up to 6 successive dryings. Soothes and repairs the skin's protective barrier. Protects skin and provides an invisible wash and friction resistant barrier. Quick-absorbing texture, invisible, non-oily and non-sticky finish.

Moisturize: Yes
Hydrates: Absolutely!
Sticky: A little
Greasy: A little
Rate: 9/10

I actually LOVE this hand cream!=)
This hand cream does moisturize and hydrates my hands like nobody's business.
I love the way it felt after I apply it.
But I gotta say, it is definitely slightly sticky and greasy.
And actually, if you have hands or fingers eczema like me, the advisor actually told me that my hands need something greasy so that they are hydrating enough throughout the day.
So I do believe her and bought it for €7.50 and hell ya I love it=)

It is a gel cream and it definitely looks very thick and gel-creamy.
One sad thing about this hand cream is the size of it.
It is such a tiny tube for quite a high price so if La Roche-Posay make it a bigger tube then I'll be more in love with them!=)
I definitely will re-purchase this hand cream and highly recommend for everyone to try it!=)

  1. I’m intrigued by your review of the Barrier Repairing Cream! It sounds like a fantastic option for those dealing with dry or damaged hands. The formulation seems perfect for creating a protective barrier while also nourishing the skin. I’m curious about how quickly it absorbs and if it leaves a greasy residue. Have you noticed any significant improvements in your skin since you started using it? It sounds like a must-try for anyone looking to restore their hand health!
