Essence lipstick Review - 60 Cutie Mac Cute

Hi guys=)
So today's review is about a makeup product from 'Essence'.
If you are not familiar with the brand, 'Essence' then you should go check it out right after you finish reading this post.
Essence is a very cheap makeup brand, I mean money wise cheap.
They sell all of their makeup products with reasonable and affordable prices.
Their price range is quite similar to ELF makeup price range but probably slightly higher.
Anyway, today I'm going to review their lipstick and let's get started=)

I only bought 1 shade because I just wanna try it and if I like it then only I will go back and buy more.
The shade that I got is called '60 Cutie Mac Cute'.
I basically got this shade mainly because of the name.
The name sounds cute to me and there are too many shades so I chose the one with cuter name.
Unfortunately, I chose the wrong shade.
I'm always so bad at choosing lipstick shade because I always chose the wrong shade for my lips.
Either it doesn't matches my skin tone or it makes my teeth look yellow.

Let's see what it claims:
Intense and subtle shades guarantee a fabulous splash of color on your lips, the color-coded packaging in the exact same color as the lipstick makes reaching for your favorite shade even easier.

Moisturize: Yes
Long-lasting: No
Rate: 6/10

This lipstick is surprisingly not bad at all!
It is moisturize enough and doesn't dries your lips out!
But I rated it average because maybe I chose the wrong shade so my rating for this lipstick gets a little bit lower.

This is a frosty pink shade with a hint of shimmers in it.
The lipstick law for me is to avoid frosty color and yet I picked up the frosty shade. Daaanngg girl!
This shade washes me out like crazy!

I look like a dead person when I wear this lipstick.
I know probably you can't see clearly by just viewing the above pictures.
But I'm serious guys, if you guys have tan skin, don't ever ever buy this shade!
This is not the kind of barbie pink color that suits tan/medium skin tone.
They have around 15 shades and some of them contains shimmers like the one that I chose.
I'm not sure whether it's shimmers or just leaves your lips a shiny and glossy finish.
They didn't really mention anything and I don't agree with the claim saying that the color of the packaging looks exactly the same as the color of the lipstick.
I normally go for my-lips-but-better color or pinky lipstick.
I chose this color out of the 15 because I know I would wear this kind of everyday wearable lipstick but I was wrong, when I opened the packaging, the first impression was WTH?!
It's not like this lipstick is bad but the color is totally wrong.
But anyway, this lipstick is just like those lip crayons because it is not long-lasting at all.
It is very nice and moisturize and it is very lightweight so you can always carry it in your bag.
But remember, choose the color of this lipstick by actually swatching them on the back of your hands.
Don't do what I did.

This lipstick is definitely worth buying since it is so cheap and the quality is quite nice as well.
The only thing is the shade, so be careful guys.
It is comparable to the ELF lipstick and they are also cheaper than some of the ELF lipsticks.
If you are living in Europe or UK, you can get it at Primark or Pennys.
If you are living in the States then you can get it at Ulta.
As for other countries, I'm not really sure.
But if you are living at the country that I didn't mentioned, comment down below and let me know=)
