Botanics 80% Organic Hydrating Eye Cream Review

Hey beauties=)
So today's review is about an eye cream.
The brand of this eye cream is called 'Botanics' and it's from the Boots company.
I've never tried anything from this brand before.
I bought this to try because my eye cream was running low and I needed a new one soon so I did some research on Google and found this eye cream through the Boots.ie.
I wanted an eye cream from the drugstore and I had a hard time searching one mainly because drugstore's eye cream are all targeting for more mature women.
They have a lot of anti-aging and youth-regenerating eye creams in the drugstore but I don't really need it right now.
So it is a huge challenge for me to try to find an eye cream that I want.
I normally look for eye creams which are for hydrating, brightening and firming purposes.
Other than that, I normally won't even look at it.
So eventually I found this one!=)
Sorry about this looooonnnngggg intro but let's jump straight in=)

So this is how it looks like.
The packaging color is all white with some green words.
The full name of this eye cream is 'Botanics The Power of Plants Hydrating Eye Cream 80% Organic with nourishing rosehip'.
It has a super duper long name.

Let's see what it claims:
The nourishing cream gently softens and smoothes the delicate eye contour. It instantly hydrates and helps to reduce the appearance of fine lines, revealing more radiant skin. Rosehip is nature's nourishing gem. The seeds are a rich source essential Omega oils, which help to improve suppleness and keep all skin types beautifully soft and healthy looking.

How to use:
Using your ring finger, tap gently along the bone above and below the eyes, morning and night.

Hydrates: Yes
Reduce appearance of fine lines: Yes
Rate: 8/10

I love this eye cream!=)
Even though it is not my holy grail and I'm still searching for my holy grail but this is by far the best eye cream that I've ever tried.
I didn't have any good past experiences for all my previous eye cream.
I like to switch up brands for my skin care and I'm so glad that I had decided to try this.

It looks very creamy when you squeeze the product out of the tube.
But when you blend it or gently tap it around your eyes area, it's like a gel consistency.
I love the feeling of it when I apply around my eyes area.
It does hydrates my eyes area for the whole day and I do apply it every morning and night.
I didn't actually knew that this eye cream claims to reduce the appearance of fine lines.
But I do notice that my premature fine lines do look less obvious after I apply this eye cream.
It does everything it claims and it works wonders around my eyes area.
It is not sticky or greasy.
Somehow this has been my best eye cream that I've tried in 2013.
But, it doesn't brightens your dark circles.
So if you have dark circles and wanted to brighten them then this is not for you.
I highly recommend trying this eye cream.
If you are living in the States, you can get it at Ulta.

  1. This review makes the Botanics 80% Organic Hydrating Eye Cream sound like a solid choice for hydration and smoothing fine lines! Too bad it doesn’t help with dark circles, but it still seems like a great find!
