1. When putting on your foundation, always do it in a bright-lit room or by a window, so you can do so evenly.

2. Cut down or eliminate junk foods and sugary drinks to keep your skin healthy and pimple free.

3. Popping pimples can push bacteria deeper into your skin, leading to redness, swelling and scarring.

4. Before putting on a concealer, warm it in your palm and let the heat thin the texture. This will ensure a smooth concealer coverage.

5. Spray a little perfume on your wrists, and some behind your ears, in preparation for a social event.

6. If you have freckles, avoid the sun and use sunscreen. Exposure to sunlight tends to make freckles darker.

7. Exfoliate your skin 2-3 times a week for radiant and smooth skin.

8. To get rid of acne efficiently, eat 2-3 tablespoons of wheat germ with your cereal, yogurt or cottage cheese.

9. Use an oil-free primer to make your makeup last throughout the day.

10. Sun tanning causes unnecessary damage to your skin and inevitably leads to wrinkles.

11. To refresh your makeup, simply mist your face with a toner, pat gently with a soft tissue and finish with a dusting of loose powder.

12. If you have dry skin, remember to not wipe or rub your face. What you can do instead is to pat your skin after washing.

13. Daily moisturizing, either with a lotion or a cream, can replenish skin moisture levels.

14. Remember to apply lotion, cream or baby oil after each bath. It will help retain your needed skin moisture.

15. Using daily gentle scrubs and weekly purifying masks can help keep your pores clean and your skin fresh.
