1. Remember to keep your hair clean and out of your face to prevent dirt, oil and bacteria from clogging your facial skin pores.
2. Massaging your scalp regularly can stimulate oil production, which will help reduce the dryness of hair.
3. If you have dry hair, do not use a combination shampoo and conditioner (2 in 1). Use a separate shampoo and conditioner.
4. Tangled hair can be caused by pillow case. Use a silk or satin pillow case, since these don't tend to tangle your hair.
5. If you desire a longer hold when styling with a curling iron, spray some hairspray before you curl your hair.
6. Regular hair trimming, about 6-8 weeks, will keep your thin ends in check.
7. When washing your hair, remember to rub your hair only in one direction to avoid hair tangling.
8. Mousse on your dry hair will make it look more dull. Try this: use a blow drying lotion or thickening lotion instead of mousse.
9. Daily hair shampooing is not recommended. Shampooing removes the oils from your hair. Shampoo once every 2-3 days instead.
10. Change your shampoos occasionally, especially when using moisture rich shampoo.
11. Oil your scalp after shampooing, while your hair is still moist. Massage the oil into your scalp and brush out to the ends of your hair.
12. Apply coconut milk all over the scalp and massage into roots for stronger hair.
