1. Kidney beans and lentils: provide protein to promote hair growth

2. Salmon: rich in Omega 3 and prevent skin redness and wrinkles

3. Brazil nuts: healthy scalp and provide selenium which is an essential ingredient in the care of your hair and scalp

4. Apple: eat apply with skin on and help make your skin look healthy and smooth

5. Garlic: treatment for pimples and acne
*Peel and mash 8 clovers of fresh garlic and apply to face avoiding the eye area. Leave for 15 minutes then wash off with a warm cloth.*

6. Eat high-fiber snacks, such as nuts, seeds and dried fruits. This will keep your skin and hair healthy.

7. Don't indulge in too much fatty or deep-fried foods as they can dull and age your skin prematurely.

8. Minimize simple carbs such as white bread, rice and pasta as well as salt in your meals if you want to avoid retaining water.

9. Don't eat past 8pm. Eating late can cause bloating and puffiness the next day.

10. Yellow teeth are usually caused by smoking, coffee, soda or juice. Whiten your teeth with baking soda and hydrogen peroxide.
