Basic must-haves face makeup brushes for beginners/ starters

Hi my lovely friends:)
Everyone starts off as a beginner or you called it a starter.
All of the greatest makeup artist or any youtuber that you admire starts off as a beginner as well.
So if you are a beginner and you are planning to start it right now, don't be afraid:)
I'm here to help you.

I'm once a beginner too and I struggle in finding what makeup brushes that is essential for beginners.
So I have come through that and now I'm going to share it with all of you:)
Don't worry if you do not have a lot of money to spend on those makeup brushes.
You can always starts off with E.L.F. brushes which only costs you $1.50 or $3.00.
They have some really good brushes:)
Or you can buy any drugstore brushes because some of them are good quality and affordable too:)

If you are a picky person like me and you like to use brushes to apply all your makeup instead of fingers, well we are best friends now because I always find that my fingers are dirty even though I just washed it:)
But some of the brushes that I recommended down below can be skipped because you can always use your clean fingers to blend everything out instead of makeup brushes.
But if you are preparing to invest in makeup brushes then I guess this post is very suitable for you:)
These are all the basic face brushes that a beginner should have.

Stippling Brush

Personally, I really recommend each and everyone to invest in a good stippling brush. I like stippling brush because you can use it for many different purpose. I like to apply foundation using stippling brush because it blends out really well. You can also apply primer using this brush if you wanna avoid fingers contact to your face when you are applying makeup. Also, applying BB cream using stippling brush is a great idea too:) But anyhow you can always use your clean fingers to apply primer, foundation and bb cream:)

Powder Brush

Okay, so this brush is not a necessary brush for everyone. Some people likes to use sponge to apply powder but definitely not fingers. However, I like to use powder brush to apply powder because I can tap off the excess powder so that my face won't look cakey. No cake face guys:) But it is still your own choice whether you wanna purchase it or not. There's many cheap drugstore good powder brushes out there so why not give it a try since it's not super duper expensive. I prefer brushes is because it is more hygienic. You can always wash your brushes after you use them whereas the sponge is very hard to wash.

 Blush Brush

So this is how a normal blush brush looks like. As for beginners, I suggest you to use this kind of normal blush brush because you are still not familiar with using brushes yet. As for those who are more professionals, they sometimes use angled blush brush which looks like the angled contour brush down below. So if you just started learning how to use blush brush, it's better that you use normal blush brush so that after you really know the techniques then you can probably switch to angled blush brush because this kind of brush requires some different techniques. But if you use cream blush or lip stain like Benetint then you can use your fingers to blend it out.

Angled Contour Brush

Well, quite a lot of people asked me what is an angled contour brush? So basically it's a brush that you use to contour your face. You can use it for your bronzer too. Some people likes to use it as a blush brush too. So it's multi-purpose, but I recommend you guys to use it as contouring and for your bronzer as well. It is a must-have brush because you can't contour using your fingers as well as applying bronzer and blush. So you need to have a brush for that.

Highlight Brush

Highlight brush is also a must-have brush because you can't use your fingers to blend it as well except if you use stain products. As for powder products, you can only use brushes to apply it. By using highlight brush, it can gives you the kind of glow that you wish for. It is sharper at the tip so you can blend more easily. But if you guys can't afford sigma brushes, you can always go for drugstore brushes:)
