Hey my loves=)
So today's review is about a lip balm from 'The Body Shop'.
So today's review is about a lip balm from 'The Body Shop'.
You guys know I love 'The Body Shop' a lot especially their body products.
I've started to try more and more 'The Body Shop' products this year and I did discovered some products that I love a lot.
I bought this while I was in Malaysia a few months ago and the salesgirl recommended me this lip balm because I have the world's driest lips ever.
She said that this lip balm is really really good for dry lips so I bought it.
It costs RM39.90 which is not cheap for just a lip balm so I did put high hopes on it since it's not cheap and the salesgirl highly recommended it.
Before I state my opinions, let's see what it claims:
This moisturising, non-greasy lip balm conditions and soothes very dry lips. It is designed for skin that needs more gentle care. Instantly soothes dry lips. Leaves lips soft, smooth and well protected. Fragrance, colour and alcohol-free. No added preservatives.
Rate: 6/10

So it is supposed to be more convenient for us to use with this type of applicator.
You are supposed to apply the lip balm straight from the tube without using your fingers.
I do like how it looks but to me, it's not convenient at all.
I need to use my finger to spread the lip balm to my entire lips because the applicator just doesn't apply it smoothly and evenly.
It has a very thick balmy texture which is not bad.
It feels very moisturising on the lips.
Another reason I bought this is because Estee from 'essiebutton' raves about this and I love her a lot so I decided to try it.
It has aloe vera in it which is really soothing for sunburn lips.
It does feel slight sticky and your hair will stick to your lips with this lip balm on.
But it leaves a very glossy finish.
However, it's just like a typical lip balm that when it's gone, it's gone.
The moisture of this lip balm doesn't penetrates deep down so it just sits on top of your lips the whole day.
When it's gone, your lips is still dry and chapped.
I have naturally very dry and chapped lips even during summer season, it's still dry and chapped.
So a lot of lip balm doesn't works on my lips.
But I do recommend for sunburn lips because it will soothe your lips since it has aloe vera in it.
